Terms and Conditions
Welcome to The Enchanted Lodges.
By making a booking and staying with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
These are in place to ensure a safe, peaceful, and enjoyable experience for all our guests. Please read carefully and contact us if you have any questions.
1. Booking & Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and become confirmed once full payment has been received.
- Bookings are provisional until payment is made in full.
- We recommend all guests take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen changes or cancellations.
- The full cost of your stay is due at the time of booking unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store full card details and all data is encrypted. See our Privacy Policy for more.
2. Cancellations & Amendments
We understand that plans can change. Please see our cancellation and amendment policy below:
- More than 6 weeks before arrival: 75% refund (a £50 admin fee applies)
- 3–6 weeks before arrival: 50% refund (minus £50 admin fee)
- Less than 3 weeks before arrival: No refund
If we are able to rebook your lodge for the full duration, we may offer a partial refund, minus an admin fee.
Amendments: You may request a date change once, up to 14 days before arrival, subject to availability. Date changes cannot be made within 14 days of arrival.
Cancellation by us: In the rare case we must cancel your booking (e.g., due to damage, extreme weather, or other unforeseen circumstances), we will offer you the choice of a full refund or rescheduling your stay. We cannot cover additional costs incurred by you as a result.
3. Arrival & Departure
- Check-in: From 2:00pm
- Check-out: By 10:30am
You will receive self-check-in instructions via email before your stay. Please let us know if you expect to arrive outside of these times.
We ask that you leave your lodge clean and tidy. A £50 cleaning fee may be charged for lodges left in an unreasonable condition.
4. Liability
The Enchanted Lodges is located on a working farm and surrounded by natural landscapes, which can present uneven terrain, wildlife, and other natural hazards. By booking, you accept full responsibility for your own safety and that of your group, including children.
We do not accept liability for:
- Loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings
- Injuries sustained during your stay
- Disruption caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather or force majeure
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for your stay.
5. Use of Lodges & Conduct
We ask all guests to treat the lodges, grounds, and fellow guests with care and respect.
- No smoking inside the lodges. A £250 deep cleaning fee will be charged for non-compliance.
- Loud or disruptive behaviour is not permitted. Quiet hours: 9:30pm to 7:00am
- Parties, stag/hen dos, or group bookings without prior approval are not permitted
- Please report any breakages or issues so we can make repairs for the next guests
Guests may be asked to leave immediately without a refund if their behaviour is deemed dangerous, abusive, or inappropriate.
6. Fires & BBQs
Each lodge has a designated fire pit. Use of open flames elsewhere on site is strictly prohibited.
- Do not use accelerants like petrol
- Keep water or a fire extinguisher nearby
- Fires must not be left unattended
- Fireworks and sky lanterns are strictly prohibited
7. Vehicles & Parking
The Enchanted lodges has a shared car park with access to an electric car charge poijnt for use by our guests.
- Drive with caution — max speed 10mph on site
- Park only in designated areas
- We do not accept liability for loss or damage to vehicles on site
8. Pets
At this time, we do not allow pets, due to the wildlife and livestock in the surrounding areas. Guests who arrive with pets without prior approval may be refused entry.
9. Children
Children are very welcome at The Enchanted Lodges. However, due to the nature of the surroundings, they must be supervised at all times, especially near fire pits, wild areas, or farming equipment.
The lodges are limited to 2 people in a double bed but children can be permitted to sleep on the sofa.
10. Respect for the Land
We’re proud of our natural, eco-friendly setting. Please help us protect it:
- Use bins provided and recycle where possible
- Stay on marked paths and respect wildlife
- Do not litter or damage the grounds or vegetation
11. Damage & Loss
Please treat the lodges and furnishings with care. Any damage or missing items may be charged to you after your stay.
- Let us know immediately if anything is broken
- Guests are responsible for the cost of repairs beyond normal wear and tear
- Lost keys will incur a £25 replacement charge
12. Accessibility
Due to the natural layout and design of the lodges, accessibility may be limited. Please contact us prior to booking if you or someone in your group has limited mobility. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
13. Complaints
We hope you have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. If anything is not right, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve it during your visit.
Complaints made after departure may be harder to resolve, so we kindly ask you to raise any concerns while on site.
14. Privacy & Data
We take your privacy seriously. Personal data collected during the booking process is only used to manage your stay and improve our services. We never share your data without your consent, unless required by law.

15. Changes to These Terms
The Enchanted Lodges reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and shared with guests when appropriate.
