The setting
A restorative retreat for two
Enchanted Lodges is tucked among wildflower meadows in the Kent countryside, near the market town of Faversham—close enough for good food, local shops and a slow wander. It is a lovely choice for couples wanting to reconnect with nature, whether that is watching birdlife across the reedbeds, exploring orchards and the National Fruit Collection, or sampling local produce and vineyards in the area.
When you feel like swapping meadow paths for the coast, Whitstable is a short drive away with a working harbour, oyster bars, independent cafés and pastel-painted beach huts. Canterbury offers over 1,400 years of history at England’s first cathedral, plus Michelin-starred dining, tearooms and a shopping quarter known for fine art and jewellery.

Cosy, considered and full of character
Step inside and the décor draws you in straight away. Maroc, our first lodge, pairs Moroccan-inspired archways with a thoughtful open-plan layout and luxurious touches such as air conditioning and underfloor heating—perfect for a nature-inspired stay for two.
The studio-style space is made for time together: rustle up home cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, sit down at the wooden table for romantic dinners, or unwind on the sofa with a coffee from the Nespresso machine before you turn in to the periwinkle-blue king-size bedroom. A lavish shower room, with details inspired by the landscape outside, completes the hideaway.
The open-plan living area is arranged so you can take in rolling views through generous glass doors—open them wide and let the countryside feel part of the room.

Meadows, patio and long views
Rolling countryside and mature trees greet you the moment you step out. There is a patio table and chairs and a barbecue for dining in the sunshine, plus a gas fire pit for cooler evenings. Private parking for one car is available at the lodge.
Our peaceful corner of rural Faversham is ideal for slow mornings, woodland walks and watching the light change over the Kent Downs—whether you stay in with the doors open or head out to Faversham, the coast or the city.
